Views are the foundation concept that provides the method by which content is displayed on the sites. Content is entered in the Content Type and Views allows you to extract that information and display only what you want to see in multiple location.

This class will cover the basics of creating views including:

  • Understanding Views and the Views User Interface
  • How to set the structure, fields, filtering and sorting attributes using the views interface
  • Create a block and page display
  • Expose Filters
  • You must have completed Creating Custom Content Types class or have a strong working knowledge of this foundational concept
